Colour, contrast & graphic design

New York-based journal Color Research and Application published my peer-reviewed paper:

‘Colour, contrast and Gestalt theories of perception: The impact in contemporary visual communications design’. Color Research and Application, 40 (1), pp85-92.

The paper explores the key roles that colour and contrast play in terms of Gestalt theories of perception and how these can impact the effectiveness of graphic design.

Since being published in February 2015, the paper has consistently been listed as the most accessed on the journal’s website.  You can download a copy of the paper at my profile page on Academia.edu.

You can view the paper at the Color Research and Application website.
