Collaboration with Norna AI

I’m excited about my ongoing collaboration with Norna, which commenced in October 2018. There have been some very exciting developments lately. On 4 June 2019, Norna has entered into a collaboration with George Washington University with the intention of initiating a research project in regards to trend analysis. Read more here.

In another exciting development on 28 May, Norna was selected as one of the Top 10 Artificial Intelligence Solution Providers in Europe in 2019. This bodes very well for Norna’s growth and potential in the AI sector. Read more here.

Under our agreement, my collaboration with Norna, I act as their colour industry expert and advisor on colour trends and evidence-based colour information.

Norna is a Stockholm-based Swedish AI tech startup. Their goal is to collect Big Data regarding the colors, shapes and textures that people use. In addition, Norna AI analyzes data using proprietary Deep Learning and tailor the output to specific end users.

The company was founded in early 2018 by Michael Collaros, Christer Norström and Jonas Saric as a response to the growing need for true personalization within the digital field. I had the opportunity to meet with Michael Collaros in Lisbon when I attended the AIC Colour Conference in September 2018.

Norna follows in the footsteps of many successful Swedish tech startups. Prominent among these startups are Skype, Spotify and Noomi (previously Aifloo). Sweden is know as the most digitally connected economy and many Swedish brands have global recognition including Ikea, H&M, Electrolux and Ericsson.
